Couples

Every relationship goes through transitions—whether you’re just beginning your journey together, entering a new chapter like marriage, relocation, or parenthood, or facing significant challenges such as separation or divorce. Couples therapy can be a valuable tool at any stage. It can help you and your partner strengthen your connection, develop deeper understanding, and find greater love and fulfillment. Or, in some cases, therapy may reveal that the relationship you desire isn’t possible within your current dynamic—allowing you to make informed choices with clarity and confidence, knowing you’ve explored every option.

  • My approach to couple’s therapy is shaped by Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, Attachment Based Therapy, and Imago Dialogue.

Eating Disorder Recovery

Struggling with an eating disorder can feel overwhelming and isolating, but you don’t have to face it alone. As a therapist specializing in eating disorders, I provide evidence-based support for individuals navigating a range of food and body-related challenges. Whether you are experiencing anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, ARFID (Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder), orthorexia, or other forms of disordered eating, I offer a compassionate and trauma informed space to identify the underlying factors that shape your relationship with food and self-image. For comprehensive care, I often recommend collaboration between a therapist and a dietitian to ensure a well-rounded and effective approach to recovery.

Healing is not just about food—it’s about understanding the deeper struggles, developing healthier coping strategies, and fostering self-compassion. My goal is to help you rebuild a sense of balance, confidence, and peace in your body and mind. You deserve support on this journey, and I am here to walk alongside you every step of the way.

  • As a Health at Every Size (HAES)®-aligned provider, I specialize in treating eating disorders with a compassion-focused approach, incorporating Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) to support clients in facing fear foods and challenging distressing behaviors. Recognizing the complexity of eating disorders, I tailor treatment to each individual, integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to foster healing, resilience, and a more peaceful relationship with food and body.

New Mothers

Becoming a mother is a beautiful and transformative experience, but it also comes with profound changes—physically, emotionally, and mentally. Whether you’re experiencing postpartum anxiety depression or Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, identity shifts, barriers to bonding, relationship changes, birth trauma, or the overwhelming demands of caring for a newborn, you don’t have to go through it isolated.

Motherhood is a journey of both love and adjustment, and it’s okay to need support along the way. I am here to help you process your emotions, build resilience, and find balance in this new chapter of life. Together, we will work toward your well-being and personalized goals—so you can show up for yourself and your little one with strength and grace.

  • Sessions take a holistic, trauma-informed approach to perinatal mental health, integrating mind-body healing to support trauma recovery, ease anxiety, and navigate birth-related challenges.

I am an in-network provider with the following California insurance providers: Aetna.
