About me.

Before embarking on formal education and training in Clinical Psychology, I spent years immersed in self-help literature, eagerly searching for wisdom to live well. This personal interest in learning the tools and resources that foster mental wellness ultimately led me to this path. Now I trust that we have the wisdom inside of us and therapy supports our connection to it. I chose to become a therapist because I am curious about the complexities of human nature and personal growth.

I believe that change starts with self-awareness. When we understand ourselves better, we can improve our relationship with self and our surroundings. My relational approach is supportive and honest with moments of humor. I actively engage with my clients, offering direct feedback while creating a space of understanding.

When I am out of the office I enjoy a good novel and being present in nature with loved ones. I live in Santa Barbara, California, with my son and significant other, enjoying the beauty of the coast.
